After crossing the border from Herceg-Novi, we will pass the fertile
Konavle Valley, the village of Cilipi, Zupa Dubrovacka and Dubrovnik.
Driving along the coast we will reach the town of Neum and head inland
through the mountainous areas of Hercegovina. We will make a short stop
above Derasko Lake and continue through the Neretva River valley to
Mostar. During Turkis rule, the city was an important trade center. Old
Bazar, the mosque and typical Turkish houses are some of the attractions
Mostar has to offer. Our return drive takes us to Pocitelj, a small fortress
town rich in Asian architecture. A passport is required for this full-day
tour.
